Cool Fall like temps made for a very comfortable walk for an August day in Minnesota.  Usually I'm forced indoors by searing humidity and high temps.  Cathy and Wally live in Minnesota now and joined me.

It stormed severely last night and the clouds are hanging around today giving everything an interesting glow.  Hard to tell by the photos but its very windy too so the clouds are constantly changing.

I always like checking out old houses that have long been abandoned.  It's a little chilly too - maybe because I read too many Stephen King novels.

Enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Mississippi River on the Kuhlmann's houseboat.  Cousin John was able to join us too!
