53 degrees today
I took my lunch and book to a park bench down by the river. It was chilly. A water bird of some kind kept squawking about something. It just sat there and bitched and complained about everything. Finally the chill and the noisy feathered creature ran me off. It's cold in my office today too but I'm wearing an animal print jacket that is quite fetching so its okay.
Last night we were invited to a Lover Boy concert. Don't know Lover Boy? Look it up. They sing something about how everybody's working for the weekend and were popular in the 80's. I was otherwise engaged in the 80's and missed the Lover Boy craze. It was a hoot though.

Mr. and Mrs. Boothe
The deed is done. Stacy and Tom are finally married and they did it with great style and flair in Deadwood, SD. Easily one of the most fun and interesting weddings I've ever attended. We wish this good looking pair a life time of fun, love and interesting adventures - just like their wedding day!

to everything there is a season

With warm clothes, good mittens and decent boots the winter weather isn't a bother. Since I live in Minnesota it's fairly certain that a fourth of the year with be unbearably hot and a fourth of the year cold or snowy. That still means half of the year will be pretty great. After spending 10 years in the heat of the desert, I'm pretty happy with four seasons and each day bringing something different in the weather department.
