...because she got her long hair cut!
It's hard on a long-haired beauty when suddenly living the life of a country dog - sharing the kennel with Zoey and Jack. Lily assumed the large drinking pool inside the kennel was a swimming pool and spent most of her time splashing around in the drinking water. I'm sure the other dogs just shook their heads in disgust.
The tangles and mats are painful so after 3 hours with a professional groomer she came home all cleaned up and feeling great. I miss her hair, but I'm told it will grow back. There really isn't much dog underneath all that hair.
